Drei Zinnen / Tre Cime

Tre Cime de Lavaredo (Drei Zinnen), Auronzo (Italy) [2017]

Background: A bit of a stereotype picture of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Auronzo (Italy) but I had to work hard for this one. While the general roundwalk is terribly overrun (and I mean really really bad) there are still tracks less used. To get to this point you have to crouch through an old mine built in World War I. Since I had no rope or security I approached the "Gamsscharte" from both sides to take some pictures. For me one of the personal highlights of this region. My second time at Tre Cime after a family trip in 1998.
