Sun patch on the sea near Koh Lanta (Thailand) [2016]

Background: What looks like the back of a giant sea creature is actually a small array of little rocky islands off coast to Koh Lanta in Krabi, Thailand. The further south you go on the island the quiter it gets. I especially like Koh Lanta since the islands (there is a small and a big island) are not direcly connected to the mainland by a cuaseway. All tourists have to get on and off the island by boat. While the northern tip of the main island is already packed with backpackers the southern part gives you a fair mix of the old school Thai remotness and modern comfort. We stayed at "Pimalai Resort and Spa", one of the top spots of the island.
