Mitterspitz / Torstein, Dachstein (Austria) [2018]

Background: View from Adamekhütte to some of the impressive summits of the Dachstein ridge. The cabin has a dramatic position in a horseshoe formed range of summits at the foot of the Gosaugletscher (Gosau Glacier) which has almost completely melted. The way up to the cabin is quite steep but easy. We took a little detour from "Hinterer Gosausee" which led through an impressive field of glacier-washed rocks (one of my highlights of the tour). On the second day of our tour we went all the way to Gjaidalm (via Keferfeldersteig); a route that should only be used by experienced hikers (no via verrata).
